SAXOTECH Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

TAMPA, Fla. – January 26, 2006 – SAXOTECH, a leading software development and systems implementation company exclusively serving the publishing industry, today announced that Bill Gilmour has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer effective January 26, 2006. This is a newly created position rounding out the executive management team of the company, which now comprises of more than 140 employees, a 78 percent increase from this time last year.

Gilmour brings more than 20 years of financial, accounting, operating and capital market experience with 15 years in the software industry to his new post. He will have worldwide responsibilities for SAXOTECH, where he will lead the financial and control efforts necessary to assist in growing the company and meeting its potential in the European and North American markets.

“Bill brings an experienced and balanced leadership approach to our finance functions,” said Anders Christiansen, president and CEO, SAXOTECH. “His extensive expertise is a great fit to assist SAXOTECH in successfully implementing its growth strategy. With our senior management team now in place, we are in a position to rapidly grow the company in 2006 and beyond.”

Gilmour has held various finance positions throughout his career with companies such as Ford Glass, Marcam Corporation, MAPICS Inc., and most recently, Alogent Corporation.

Gilmour holds a bachelor’s of commerce from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in Canada.

Tampa, Fla. – October 5, 2005 – SAXOTECH, a leading software development and systems implementation company exclusively serving the publishing industry, today announced the acquisition of CKP Newspaper Systems, Inc, a New Hampshire-based company known for developing software systems for the newspaper industry.


In addition to the acquisition of CKP’s assets, SAXOTECH has retained the company’s employee-base, each of whom have outstanding expertise in development and support specializing in advertising systems.
