Drammen, Norway - January 30, 2009 - SAXOTECH wins a major contract with the Norwegian media group Hamar Media for delivery of a new editorial content and workflow management solution.

Hamar Media is a leading regional media company located in the county of Hedmark, holding nine subsidiaries within publishing, printing, radio, Internet, etc. The implementation of SAXOTECH Editorial will provide a centralized workflow management system for the newspaper's 90 editorial users who will rely on the solution for planning and production.

Hamar Media has great expectations for their new editorial solution. "SAXOTECH Editorial will give our newspapers a modern, simple, flexible and effective system for multi-channel publishing of news and information. The new editorial system will be our main platform within planning, information handling, and publishing. We plan to gain a more uniformed production with more standardized workflows across our publications. Our main goal is to transfer resources from desk to operational activities, and thereby gain permanent cost reductions in the production environment”, said Sven Arne Nielsen, production director, Hamar Media.
