Seven Daily Newspapers, Including Montreal’s La Presse, Deployment Includes Latest Online Advertising Management System

Tampa, Fla. - March 19, 2005 - SAXOTECH, the software development and systems implementations company exclusively serving the publishing industry, today announced that one of Canada’s premiere newspaper publishers has selected its online publishing system and online advertising management system (OAMS).

Gesca will immediately begin deployment of SAXOTECH Online to serve as the web publishing platform for its seven daily newspapers, beginning with La Presse, the major French language daily newspaper in Montreal. OAMS will be used to deliver highly targeting online advertising across the newspapers of the group.

La Presse is one of Montreal’s largest newspapers with a daily circulation of 200,000. Combined, the seven daily newspapers of the Gesca group reach a daily circulation of 450,000. SAXOTECH Online provides Gesca with a single publishing platform that streamlines its editorial and online advertising operations to deliver timely news and targeted advertising to the groups rapidly growing online audience.
