SAXoPRESS Publishing System
Aalborg, November 3, 1998 The Danish daily newspaper Helsingør Dagblad A/S has entered into an agreement with SAXoTECH regarding the delivery of a complete editorial system running on MacOS workstations with an Oracle database making it the very first SAXoPRESS database installation on the Macintosh platform in Denmark.
The industry-leading SAXoPRESS Publishing System is replacing a DDI-system from Euromax on 17 work stations at Helsingør Dagblad, and the system will be fully operationel by the end of 1. quarter 1999.
In addition to the SAXoPRESS modules for production of editorial copy Helsingør Dagblad is also getting the de facto standard within automatic image processing - SAXoImageProcessor Pro - a process very intelligent and highly automated.
SAXoTECH A/S, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, is the Danish market leader in fully integrated PrePress solutions for newspapers. With the order for Helsingør Dagblad the SAXoPRESS Publishing System has within a short time been installed at 26 of the Danish daily newspapers. SAXoTECH A/S is further market leading in Denmark when it comes to transmitting and receiving text, images and graphics with the SAXoWirePhotoGateway, the market standard in Denmark.
Since the market entry into Norway in April 1997 SAXoTECH and its distrubutor Luth Grafisk have dominated the Norwegian market with 8 installations so far. No other supplier of prepress softare has managed to sell or enter a contract since SAXoTECH penetrated the market.
