SAXoTECH here by annonces the sale of the SAXoPRESS Publishing System to the Danish newspaper Fjerritslev Avis. The contract was signed in winter 1998 and the implementation and installation has been going on during the last month and the system is expected to be up-and-running in very short time replacing the current Euromax system.
The numbers of workstations at Fjerritslev Avis are 13 and contain following modules: Articles module, SAXoTEXT, Wire module, layout module, Picture module, Wire pictures module, Ritzau receiver and Nordfoto receiver modules.
The contract comprises a SAXoPRESS editorial system based on MacOS.
SAXoTECH A/S, headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, is the Scandinavian market leader in fully integrated PrePress solutions for newspapers and is making strong inroads into the other European markets with distributors in Benelux and Switzerland.
In addition, at the turn of the year SAXoTECH A/S has established a subsidiary in the US to sell and support SAXoPRESS, SAXoTECH's editorial system. The North American subsidiary is located in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C.
