Drammens Tidende of Norway has signed a contract with SAXoTECH A/S for delivery of a complete editorial system for 64 users. The new system is a database solution with writers and editors on Windows NT clients and pagination on Macintosh clients.
Drammens Tidende is a daily newspaper with a circulation of appr. 45,000. Drammens Tidende is owned by Orkla Media A/S, and the newspaper is consequently part of one of Norways three major newspaper groups.
The installation will be completed by November �.
On April 19, 1999, yet another daily joined the SAXoPRESS installations in Norway, Varden located in Skien, Norway.
Varden is also owned by Orkla Media A/S, and consequently the newspaper is part of one of Norways three major newspaper groups. The newspaper has a circulation of 34,000.
The contract entered by SAXoTECHs Norwegian di-stributor Luth Grafisk AS is for delivery of a SAXo-PRESS database solution on the Windows NT platform for 70 editorial users.
The installation will be completed by September �.
