SAXoManager is built around a task structure, which makes it possible to automate routine file maintenance such as deleting old files, folder update with new documents or backup procedures.
Task Structure A task is defined by name, task type and search criteria. Task types are copying, moving and deleting files. Search criteria and task frequency can be set up for each individual task, but the program also allows for duplicating a task and re-using its settings if only a few things have changed.
Automation It is possible to automate a task to be carried out at fixed intervals, from once every minute till once a month. This allows for tasks to be carried out after work hours, during the weekend, and makes it possible to update folders with new files.
Search Criteria SAXoManager allows advanced search criteria. These are divided into folder criteria and file criteria. SAXoManager allows for advanced search criteria. These are grouped in "folder-criteria" and "file-criteria". It is even possible to let task-completion depend on available free disk space.
