The SAXOTECH North American user community will come together June 10 - 12 in Tampa for two days of sessions focused on core products such as: travel baseball team

Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of other sessions led by their peers covering best practices using SAXOTECH technology for multi-channel publishing, workflow management and audience engagement.

Central Desk Strategy

David oversees all matters related to print and online content, strategy, and online development and support related to the company's content management system. From 2007-2011 he served as the executive director of the News & Interactive Division for GateHouse Media. Prior to that, he served as the executive editor of Greater Niagara Newspapers (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) and served as the top editor for the Cullman Times (Ala.), the Porterville Recorder (Calif.) and the Huntsville Item (Texas).

Susan Jackson, Media General

eSolicitor Session

Susan is the CIS Lead Functional Analyst for the Media General Operations & Distribution Solutions Group. Media General is a multimedia company operating leading newspapers, television stations, and online enterprises primarily in the Southeastern United States. Publishing assets include three metropolitan daily newspapers, 22 community daily newspapers, and more than 150 weekly newspapers and other publications.

Susan has been employed with Media General and its' subsidiaries for over 30 years. Since 1998 she has been the lead analyst on the CIS Team, primarily responsible for the implementation and support of the SAXOTECH Circulation system at all of Media General's newspapers.

Cynthia Page, Washington Post

Single Copy Management & Syncronex Session

Cynthia is a Senior Business Analyst at The Washington Post. She is responsible for coordinating the design of business processes to take full advantage of SAXOTECH Circulation functionality at The Post. She has 28 years of newspaper experience in supporting Circulation Systems. She is a native of Washington DC and has one son.

Teresa Schmedding, Assistant Managing Editor, Daily Herald Media Group

Changing Newsroom Culture in a Digital World

Teresa oversees digital initiatives and multiplatform publishing. The Daily Herald won an innovation award from Editor & Publisher this year and was named "one of 10 newspapers that do it right." She also is the president of the American Copy Editors Society. Schmedding has a bachelors in journalism and a masters in media management from the University of Missouri.

Carole Stein, Membership Services Director, Los Angeles Times Media Group

Vacation - No Credit Session

Carole has held a variety of positions in her 14 years, including Single Copy Manager, Home Delivery Sales, Customer Service, and Retention Marketing. Since her involvement in the Times' DSI implementation 2 years ago, she has been deeply engaged in using technology to create solutions to revenue challenges and customer problems.

Linda Wilkinson, The Dispatch Printing Co

Commercial Delivery Session

Linda graduated from The Ohio State University in 1974 and began working in the Circulation Department of The Columbus Dispatch soon after. She has supervised bookkeeping, Customer Service, and data entry/computer room personnel.

In the early 1980s, The Dispatch created its own circulation computer system. Linda was a Circulation Department liaison with IS the transition from paper to CRTs. Since CRTs were a new tool for Circulation personnel, she even had to demonstrate how to turn one on!

This experience proved valuable when, in 2001 and 2002, she was the project manager for the conversion from the "home-grown" system to the DSI system. Today she continues to be the "go to" person at The Dispatch for all things SAXOTECH Circulation.

After an intensive day of educational sessions and informative presentations, it is time to kick back for some cruising and connecting with your peers.

On Monday night from 6:00pm-8:00pm we will set sail together on a fabulous dinner cruise around beautiful Tampa Bay.
